Professor Clemons teaches a variety of courses in The National Hispanic University's business administration programs. In 2010, she was named Faculty of the Year. In addition to her role as professor, she has served as chair of Business Administration, chair of Computer Science, vice-chair of faculty senate, and founder of the annual career fair. She has also served on the assessment committee, retention committee, advancement and grants committee, president's advisory committee, and the scholarship committee. Currently, she serves as faculty representative on the University Curriculum and Academic Policy committee (UCAP) and the university's subcommittee to its Board of Directors. Outside of her role in academia, she serves as treasurer on the Board of Directors for Alternative Energy Center in San José, Calif.
