Special education-related topics, inclusion and mainstreaming
Dr. Kahill has been teaching in the field of education since 1980. Over the past 30 years, he has taught in New York City, on a Native American reservation in New Mexico, and in California since 1986. He worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District and the San Francisco Unified School District for many years as a general and special education teacher and as an administrator. Dr. Kahill started teaching at the graduate level in 2005 at National University. In addition, he has been with Walden University as a university supervisor and contributing faculty member in its M.S.Ed. program since 2009. He joined the faculty at The National Hispanic University in July 2013 and is teaching in the M.A.Ed. program.
Dr. Kahill holds teaching credentials in California, several other states, and British Columbia, Canada.
