Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies- Credential Option

Education Concentration with a Multiple Subject Credential

Prepare for a fulfilling career and help California’s diverse K-8 students reach their full potential through NHU’s B.A. in Liberal Studies, Education Concentration with a Multiple Subject Credential. This pathway features a Liberal Arts degree that blends seamlessly with the Multiple Subject Credential program. You have the chance to complete your credential in less time than the usual 5 years. However, time to completion varies and is subject to individual progress and performance.

With this pathway, you can gain insight on cross-cultural educational practices and how they affect student learning. You can also acquire tools to help educate your students about the importance of respecting people from all ethnic, linguistic, cultural, religious, and economic backgrounds, as well as individuals of various genders, sexual orientations, ages, and abilities.

NHU is reviewed by and consistent with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. In addition, NHU has state approval for the Multiple Subject California Subject Examinations for Teachers (CSET) preparation, giving you the opportunity to fully prepare for the exam and launch your teaching career.
