Criminal Justice Concentration
Drugs, gangs, and organized crime present numerous challenges to our society. This concentration gives you an opportunity to examine the criminal justice system with a focus on Latinos and the law. You can develop an understanding of the criminal justice system in the U.S. and delve into subjects such as contemporary criminal justice systems, psychological disorders and crime, and organized crime.
You can explore special issues related to adolescents and young adults in the juvenile justice system. Learn about alternative approaches to juvenile delinquency that can achieve better social outcomes.
