Spanish Concentration

Some of the world’s most influential artists, writers, musicians, political figures, and thought leaders speak Spanish. With this concentration, including a signature course that offers broad exposure to these luminaries and their work, you can use your language skills to create a solid foundation in the literature and culture of the Spanish-speaking world.

Cultivate new knowledge in advanced grammar and composition; linguistics; Latin American, Mexican, and Iberian literature; Chicano culture; Spanish professional communication skills; and other topics.

This concentration is an ideal option if you want to build your competency and mastery of Spanish. The program is designed to provide the foundation for future graduate studies or careers in:
