Mission
The mission of the Mathematics
and Science Department is to prepare and
graduate students for careers involving
Mathematics, Science and Engineering by
providing a broad technical education. The
Mathematics and Science program is centered on a
group of technical courses, which provides
students with a solid foundation in Calculus,
Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering, including
both theory and practical applications.
In addition, the Mathematics and Science
Department aims to provide students knowledge of
the equipment, materials and procedures used in
technical professions, as well as the teamwork
and communication skills essential to success in
a technical career.
The NHU Associate of Science
