Milena Lilles, M.S.

Research Interests
Marine microbes, natural products research, teaching biology

Milena Lilles has taught science classes for four years at various colleges in the San José area. She discovered a love for teaching while she was in graduate school at San José State University and decided to pursue it as a career. She currently teaches biology at The National Hispanic University. In addition, Lilles teaches microbiology at De Anza Community College in Cupertino, Calif., and biology at Gavilan College in Gilroy, Calif. She also works with the Environmental Microbiology Lab at San José State University on her research and is in the process of publishing her work.
