Background
Professor Alvarez has been a part of The National Hispanic University's Familia™ since 1993, first as a member of Teatro de los Pobres, founded by her father, Felix Alvarez, then as a student in 2001. She returned to the university nearly a decade later and now serves as a faculty member teaching introductory philosophy courses.
