Welcome to the National Hispanic University's Teacher Education Department. The Teacher Education faculty prepares multiple subject teachers and single subject teachers in the areas of Art, English, Math, Physical Education, Science, Social Science and Spanish.
In the fall of 2006 a Mild to Moderate Special Education credential was added to the credentials issued by the National Hispanic University.
Our classes are designed to prepare teachers that are effective in California's culturally and linguistically diverse schools. The faculty believes that an effective teacher knows and uses appropriate strategies that meet the developmental and diverse needs of all students.
To learn more
about our program offerings, you are welcome to attend an informational
