Early University Program (EUP)

Do you want to earn college credits while you are still a junior or senior in high school? Students attending partner high schools may qualify for NHU's Early University Program.

Candidates still attending high school will be considered for enrollment in certain special programs and regular university courses, if recommended by school officials and the director of the Early University Program. Preparation must be equivalent to that required of eligible California high school graduates. Such admission is only for a given term/program and does not constitute the right to continued enrollment.

You could take courses such as:

  • Chicano/Latino Culture

  • Latino Drama

  • English

  • Psychology

  • Calculus

You’ll also have access to:

  • Tutoring

  • Computer labs

  • Library services

  • Academic advising

  • Financial aid counseling

Admission Requirements:

  • Completed online NHU admission application.

  • Parent consent form.

  • Approval from the director of the Early University Program.

Note that admission to the Early University Program does not guarantee you admission to NHU once you have graduated from high school.
