Thanks to a new partnership with San Mateo County Community College District (SMCCCD), you can earn your Bachelor of Arts in Child Development from NHU on campus at Cañada College. Through Cañada's Associate to Bachelor University Center initiative, students with an associate degree from any SMCCCD school can transfer their community college credits toward our bachelor's program and complete their degree faster.
So if you have an associate degree or are within six units of completing it, consider this new educational opportunity. Your associate degree credits will transfer into NHU's lower division courses, then you will only have to complete your upper division and concentration courses at Cañada—while still earning your Bachelor of Arts in Child Development from NHU. Choose from five concentrations when you enroll in this accelerated evening and weekend program:
Early Intervention — Explore how a child's development is affected by his or her culture and environment.
General – Customize your course selection according to your personal and professional goals.
School Age — Prepare to work with children from diverse backgrounds in a school environment.
Review the transfer guide for admission requirements and specific transfer course equivalents. If you have additional questions, please review commonly asked questions or contact an enrollment advisor at 1-877-534-6648.
