My Reflections...
I have been a teacher all my life. I taught at various levels from Kindergarten to college. I was very fortunate to cherish the experience of teaching in different countries. After about 20 years of teaching and administrative experience in India, I migrated to the United States in 2003. After getting my accomplishments evaluated, I was granted the equivalency of two Masters in any accredited university of the United States. I hold a Masters in Education and a Masters in History, but to be a clear credentialed teacher in the U.S, I had to pass a few exams and take a few courses. For the next two years, I was directed from place to place to find various institutions to fulfill all the requirements. Not that other institutions did not have the courses, but the way I was sent from place to place was highly frustrating.
It was in this frustrated state of mind that a noble soul directed me to N.H.U. The day I came to see Dr. Shawn Vecellio, I was at the point of quitting my life long profession of being a teacher. It was Dr. Shawn Vecellio who gave me repeated assurance and much needed guidance to complete the requirements.
During my stay at N.H.U, I found a team of highly dedicated professionals dealing with the problems of students and assisting each one of us to succeed in our goals. For my success, I am thankful to everyone from the front desk to the third floor office. Now, I recommend every one to join N.H.U to enjoy the rich experience of this esteemed institution.
