SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

10:30 AM: MC Introducción

10:35 AM: Danza Azteca Cipactonalli, 30 Performers dancing and dressed in Dia de Muertos attire. A tribute to the Dia de Muertos.

11:30 AM: Procession- the audience is invited to participate and the Mariachi Regional de Magda Vázquez.

11:40 AM: Procession on stage.

12:00: Dr. David Lopez, President of NHU welcomes the audience. He is followed by Councilmember District 5 Xavier Campos and Mexican General Consul of San Jose, Carlos Ponce Martínez.

12:05 Ballet Folklórico Mexicano Fuego Nuevo Considered one of the best folkloric groups that promote Mexican culture, will perform traditional dances from Northern Mexico, Veracruz, Puebla, including the Dance of the Quetzales and the China Poblana. The Ballet Folklorico will alternate with singer Lola Rodriguez.

1:00 PM: Mariachi Cihualteco This Mariachi is formed by 12 students from East San Jose high schools.

1:55 PM: Academia Moda 15 - will present a parade of children and youth dressed in clothes made from recycled materials (10 minute presentation). They will be followed by youth of La Academia, who will dance La Quebradita dressed as calaveras, or skeletons.

2:25 pm MC: ANNOUNCE MASK WINNERS

2:35 PM: Lasek and Keyz

3:20 PM: Los Shakas de la banda Popular music band, formed by 17 musicians.

4:12 PM: Reinas de la Bahía 15 girls performing the most popular banda norteña, most of them high school students.

5:10 PM: Dr. Carlos VonSon: COMPARSA (CARNIVAL CHARACTERS) / PROCESSION followed by Reinas de la Bahia.
