Program Services

Academic Advising: All participants are assigned an academic advisor who will help participants get into college by encouraging and providing students and their families with information to prepare them for post secondary education.

Tutoring: The EETS program provides tutoring at designated middle school and community sites for participants needing assistance after school.

Academic and Personal Development: EETS students are provided with workshops in a variety of topics to better prepare them as students and enable them to be self sufficient, self motivated and pro-active.

Leadership: EETS students are provided with opportunities to develop leadership skills by participating in local, regional and national workshops and conferences.

Social and Cultural Awareness: EETS students expand their horizons and gain knowledge and further understanding regarding their own heritage and background along with others. EETS students also are exposed to various forms of art and expression so to become well-rounded individuals. Students attend plays, visit museums and participate in excursions in and to large metropolitan cities

Career Exploration: EETS students are provided with opportunities to explore careers through career fairs, workshops, interaction with professionals and visits to universities and corporate offices.
