For first-time freshmen enrolling in a campus-based undergraduate programs:
- President’s Scholarship – a full-tuition scholarship
- Familia Scholarship – covers up to 50% of tuition for the lifetime of the program
- S-STEM Scholarships – for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics
Up to an $8,000 grant for California residents who enroll in any campus-based undergraduate program.
$2,500 grant for new students who enroll in the online M.A. in Education program with a specialization in Teaching and Learning.
$3,000 scholarship for students who transfer a minimum of 12 credits into any campus-based undergraduate degree program.
First course at no cost for new NHU students who enroll in the online B.A in Business Administration or online B.A. in Child Development program.
First course at no cost for new students who enroll in the online M.B.A. program.
First term at no cost for new students who enroll in the Teacher Education Credential program.
First course at no cost for new students who place at the “expert level” on the placement examination for the Translation and Interpretation Certificate program.
Grants are also available for Texas or Arizona residents enrolling in any online undergraduate degree program or the M.A. in Education with a specialization in Teaching and Learning. For eligibility requirements and additional information, contact Mike Barnes at

Early registration fee waived for the first term for new students who accept admission to NHU and register for class two weeks before the program start date.
