This site is designed to provide general information about financial aid and scholarships for future students, current students, families, and alumni.  We continually update the site to provide you with the most current information about applying for financial aid, the types of aid available, scholarship applications and information, and other applicable information.

The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is located in the main building at the National Hispanic University.

Our office hours are:
  Monday - Thursday     10:00 am - 6:00 PM
  Friday                     10:00 am - 5:00 PM

We can also set up an appointment to answer your financial aid and scholarship questions outside our normal business hours.

(NEW)! The Hispanic Association of Colleges & Universities (HACU) is now accepting applications for its scholarship programs. Students must demonstrate financial need, attend a HACU member institution (NHU is a member), and meet criteria specified by each scholarship program. (NEW)! The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Scholarship Program is available to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university. Students pursuing an associate's degree may apply for a grant in the amount of $1,000; bachelors candidates may apply for a grant in the amount of $2,500; and graduate students may apply for a grant in the amount of $5,000. Deadline: April 16, 2008.

The 2007-2008 Silicon Valley Scholarship application is now open to current and prospective students in a CIS program or a Math/Science/Engineering AS program. Download application in .pdf or .doc format.
