POSITION: ADJUNCT FACULTY for GENERAL EDUCATION

REPORTS TO: Coordinator of General Education

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Department of General Education is looking for an English part-time adjunct faculty for the Fall 2009 semester. Courses might range from Basic Grammar to Literature and Composition.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Masters degree or higher in English.

• Previous teaching experience.

• Good attitude, sense of humor, strong commitment to student learning.

• Understanding of and commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards.

• A student-centered approach to instruction that is patient and nurturing while setting high standards.
