Hola
Familia,
The National Hispanic University is a beacon in this
region for learning, discourse and community. As we
continue to grow, so does our reputation as a positive
and safe place to congregate. An oasis, amidst the
ugliness of this world of fear.
On Sunday, December 10th, The National
Hispanic University will be host to Las Posadas. This event
has a history in San Jose that goes back to the 1960's
when the Rodriguez family held them at the Santa Clara
County Fairgrounds. We are honored to be the new home
of Las Posadas and this is the second installment on
our campus.
This
will be an all day event, starting with Mass
in the auditorium at 10:30 AM and a procession. Immediately
following the mass will be an all day event that will
include:
- Mexican delicias including: pozole, tamales, enchiladas,
champurado and more.
- 2 stages with live music and entertainment (Stage 1-
93.3 FM La Raza and Stage 2- 1290 AM KAZA)
- Games and Entertainment for children
- Live remote from event
- Breaking of Pinata
