Coors Light® Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month by
Donating to National Hispanic University at the Raiders ¡Fiesta
Latina! Game
Oakland, Calif.
(September 27, 2006) – In celebration
of the Raiders Hispanic Heritage
Day, Coors Light will donate
$20,000 to the National Hispanic University (NHU). Coors Light
will present the donation to NHU on the field prior to the Raiders’
Hispanic Heritage Day game against Cleveland on October 1.
“Each year
we strive to provide more Hispanics with
the opportunity of a multicultural
university education,” said
Dr. David Lopez, president of NHU. “Coors Light’s donation helps
our institution continue to grow and meet our goals.”
NHU is a nonprofit
four-year university established
in 1981 to serve the needs of Hispanics,
women, minorities and other
students. Coors’ donation will support adult education at NHU.

long-time supporter of education in the Hispanic
community,” said Olga Garcia,

for Coors Brewing Company. “This donation has a direct and positive
impact on the Hispanic community in the Bay Area and nationwide
and we thank NHU for their outstanding track record and the
valuable service they provide.”

an official sponsor of the
Oakland Raiders.
