A: No. All NHU Students who are in a 4-year degree program are eligible for participation in our program. |

Q: Why do I have to fill out an Application?
A: Because the Student Success Program is a Federally funded TRiO Program, we have to report the number of students that we are helping as well as their basic information to the Department of Education. |

Q: What are the criteria for being an officially registered student?
You must follow the procedures under Registering for Classes. You are considered "Officially Registered" once you meet the following requirements:
- Students have been officially admitted;
- Student has met with his/her advisor and has submitted a Registration Form;
- Student has met course requirements, if applicable (certain courses have prerequistes, see the Schedule of Classes);
- Student has submitted appropriate forms, if applicable (you must submit an Individual Directed Study Form in order to register for independent study);
- Student has submitted the Registration Form to the Business Office;
- Student has paid appropriate fees.

Q: How can I qualify to participate in the Student Success Program?
A: You must be either low income, first generation (first to attend college in your family), or a student with a disability to become a participant of the Student Success Trio Program. |

Q: Where can I obtain my Class Schedule?
A: To obtain a Class Schedule of the course you are currently taking, go to the Office of the Registrar. |

Q: Can SSP help me choose my classes?
A: The Student Success Program is more than happy to advise students who have not declared a major. |
