"SI SE PUEDE!"

NHU will have a five-week intensive Summer Bridge Program that will run from Monday, June 30th through Friday, August 1st, 2008.  Summer Bridge will assist first year students through the transition of graduating from high school and entering the university.  The purpose of the Summer Bridge program is to prepare students for the academic, social, and personal challenges and new experiences of college.  Students will meet their professors, get familiar with all departments and learn about on-campus resources.  It is a fun and exciting way to start college.

Participants will enroll in the First Year Seminar course, participate in workshops, advising sessions, and study hall. At the same time students will have fun while making new friends and enjoying group activities.  After successfully completing UNI 100: First Year Experience, participants will earn 3 units towards their general education requirements. Students will be prepared to meet NHU's high expectations.
